DAVID ZEFF

David is responsible for all activities of the company. He enjoys building and motivating the team while prospecting for new opportunities, managing partner, investor and lender relationships and structuring each investment.

David has over 28 years of experience in the acquisition, value enhancement and disposition of institutional and private real estate.
Before starting his first investment platform, Pacific Real Estate Partners, in 2005, David was directly responsible for acquisitions and asset management for two privately held real estate investment firms in the San Francisco Bay Area and Western States. David’s experience includes the acquisition and asset management of approximately $400 million of commercial real estate including office, industrial, retail and single and multi-family properties.

In 2015, David created Sterling Real Estate Partners to acquire market rate, value-add multi-family properties. He relocated from the San Francisco bay area to Phoenix to be closer to the portfolio and build out the team in Arizona.
David has a BS in Economics from the University of Arizona and is active in various real estate trade organizations. David enjoys fly fishing and traveling with his family. He lives in Scottsdale with his wife and two daughters.

LEA ANN SCOFIELD

Lea Ann is directly responsible for all operational activities and performance of the portfolio. She oversees the strategy and execution of the business plan for each property. This requires oversight of the property management teams, as well as, hiring and training the staff. Lea Ann is also responsible for the review of all operating and financial results for third-party managed assets.
Lea Ann has over 15 years of experience in asset and property management. Prior to Sterling, she spent seven years in the Phoenix market working for Greystar Real Estate Partners and Alliance Residential. Lea Ann has successfully managed all asset types, from distressed class C communities to luxury, class A communities. In 2011, Lea Ann received the Arizona Multi-Housing Association award for Property Manager of the Year for the successful turnaround of a severely distressed community called The Brittany in Mesa, Arizona.
Lea Ann holds an active Arizona Real Estate license and stays involved in the Arizona Multi-Housing Association for continued professional development. Lea Ann was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and currently resides in Gilbert with her husband, Brooks, and three children.

WENDY PARR-LODIEN

Wendy is responsible for all corporate level financials, treasury management, and all accounting activity for each investment. She manages reporting requirements for lenders, investment partners and other stakeholders and will coordinate annual tax returns. She plays an integral role in the acquisition due diligence process to review and analyze property financial statements including detailed review of balance sheets and general ledgers.

Wendy has been in the real estate accounting/finance industry for over 25 years. Prior to joining Sterling, Wendy was a Director of Property Accounting for Shelton Residential, where she oversaw a team of nine accountants and two accounting managers. She has also been a co-owner of a property management company where she was responsible for all aspects of starting up the operations, IT and accounting for the company as well as managing all operations.

Wendy has held an active AZ Real Estate Sales License for 26 years. Wendy and her husband Dave have been married 33 years and have two daughters. Outside interests include traveling, playing golf and spending time with family and friends.
